This notice is only for Fiesta PZ Map on the Apple App Store and on Google Play. It does not cover any other app. Cato Technologies, LLC publishes Fiesta PZ Map. On iOS and on Android, the app uses precise location while it is open. That location draws the blue dot and the 10-minute line on the prohibited-zone map. Those coordinates stay on the device. They are not sent to Cato Technologies.
The app downloads the official map PDF and the zone KML from the Balloon Fiesta pilots page, https://www.balloonfiesta.com/pilots-and-crews/pz-maps/. The files are stored on the device until a newer download replaces them. That site receives the request for those files.
The basemap loads tiles from OpenFreeMap so the chart can be drawn. That request shows the tile service which area is on screen. It is not a GPS track sent to Cato Technologies.
Landing opens the City of Albuquerque survey in the browser: https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/9bdd5cae977d48f3ad7b938c5f28ecaa. If the phone has a location, that pin is placed on the link so the form can start there. Name, banner, pin, and address go to that City and Esri form. This app does not receive the form.
There is no account. There are no ads. No analytics SDK was added. The app does not use an advertising identifier, and it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not sell personal information. This app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child.
The downloaded PDF and KML stay on the device until you delete the app or a newer download replaces them. The blue dot and the 10-minute line stay on the device. We do not keep those coordinates. There is no account to delete. Delete the app to remove the map files and the position stored on the device.
